It will further serve him as an aide-memoire to revise and refresh his knowledge when preparing for class or other examinations. He may at a glance discover the points upon which his knowledge is defective. By interleaving this Synopsis he may increase its value by the addition of notes taken in class, and in reading and by his own reflections.
