Dot Sphaerella, Perithecia black, shining, semi-innate, prominent, disposed in little groups of seven or eight on the upper surface of leaves, col- lapsed and concave when dry ; asci cylindrical, curved or flexuose ; aporidia uniseriate, elliptical or subcymbiform; hyaline highly refractive and colourless.—Cooke Seem.
