![After Bleeding I prefcribed an Emetic of Tpecacuanba and Turpeth Mineral once a Week, and on the other Days the following — with Sea Jater. ^ — K Of Vegetable Ethiops [hereafter defcribed] three Drams, Cuttle-fifb Bone burnt ‘three Drams, Coralline half an Ounce, prepared . Woodlice two Drams, Conferve of Paronych. an Ounce and an hal Lf, Syrup of the five open- ing Roots, enough to make an Eleciary, of which take the Quantity of a Nutmeg twice a Day, drinking a Pint of Sea Water next Morning. The Part affected was daily anointed ii frefh Unguent. Nutrit. and as the Tumor grew lefs, heufed cold Bathing in the Sea, anda flight Friction of Quercus Marina to ftrengthen the Part. In this Manner the Tumor was fub- dued, and the Man could walk without any Trouble.
