![Slaughter Houses. See Report of Sanitary Inspector (page 35). Rag Flock Acts, 1911 and 1928. There are no rag flock producers in the Borough. Schools. All schools in the area are visited each mouth by the Sanitary Ins])ector. With the exception of St. John’s School, the sanitary condition and water supply are satisfactory. Housing. The general housing situation in the Borough is by no means bad, but there is an acute shortage of hou.ses for the lowest paid wage earners. Such people cannot afford a rent al)Ove 7s. per week. Overcrowding appears to be slight, but fuller information will be obtained under the survey which is necessary under the 1935 Housing Bill. 1 have to thank the House-Letting Sub-Committee for giving priority to .such cases as I have recommended. 1.
