Description
Lepromatous leprosy: histoid leprosy
This picture shows raised lesions, or nodules, on the forearm of a leprosy patient. The nodules are firm and well defined, with the appearance of histoid leprosy.
Histoid lesions usually occur secondary to dapsone resistant Mycobacterium leprae.
