![The two midwives resident in Greenbank have not yet been fully employed, the other midwives being able to cope with the demands of the district. As there has been a shortage of stall’ in Greenbank Hospital, they have been allotted duty in the wards. One Midwife surrendered her certificate during the year and received the compensation to which she was entitled. During the year the Health Committee guaranteed the Midwife’s fee in 20 necessitous cases and recovered according to circumstances.
