No. of houses condemned Nil No. of houses demolished 7 No. of Undertakings given Nil The number of Council houses completed during 1951 was 5 Those built by private enterprise numbered 11 and there were al 22 conversions by private enterprise. At the close of the year the were 88 houses actively under construction. A further 42 we authorised but not under construction. The number of applicatioj for Council houses at 31st December, 1951, was 405.
