    Hospitals (Medical, Surgical and Maternity). Tlie Ibllowing Hospitals are used by tlie inhabitants of the distriet :— Petersfield Hospital. Hasleinere Distriet Hospital. Havant War Memorial Hospital. Emsworth Cottage Hospital. Portsmouth Royal Hospital. Portsmouth Eye and Ear Infirmary. The Petersfield Public Assistance Institution has accom¬ modation for 54 patients : 25 men, 27 women, and 2 beds for maternity cases. Special Hospitals. The County Council has made arrangements for beds in Hospitals outside the area for the following medical services :— (a) Maternity, Puerperal Fever, and Pyrexia. Aldershot Maternity Unit, St. George’s Road. Earnham, Hale Road Infirmary (arrangements for taking septic cases). Portsmouth, St. Mary’s Hospital, Milton (arrange¬ ments for taking septic eases). \Vinchestei-, Royal Hants County Hospital (arrange¬ ments for taking septic cases). Normal cases, Maternitv wai'ds at Alton and Peters¬ field P.A.I’s. (b) Opthalmia Neonatorum. Portsmouth, Eye and Ear Hos])ital. Southam])ton, Free Eye Hospital. Winchester, Royal Hants County Hospital.
