(Signed) JOHN BROOME, Chairman. ~ Angut 24th, 1795: The Committee appointed to prevent the sdfredndion and fpreacing of infeétious difeafes in this city, REPORT, That fince their report of the ‘24th inft. tw enty per- — fons have died of the prefent epidemic. ‘The Com- mittee are-fo fully perfuaded that the diforder which exifts principally, if not altogether, along a’part of the Eaftern fhore of this city, is a local malady, that they have direéted various meafures to be purfued for the femoval of its probable fources. ~The committee furthér report, that the number bf fick have decreafed fince their laft report, and that two perfons have died in the laft twenty-four hours.
