    This school was organized, and is run by the Y. M. C. A. students of the Soochow Uni- versity, who, ill addition to emplo-vi打g a teacher, take turns themselves in teaching during such ]iours as they can spare from their regular studies ill the University. It is intended for the poor, and like our kindergarten, recruits its students from among- the pupils of our Soochow Simday School. Since it is run by the young men of the Soochow University the question may be asked as to where the Soochow Hospital comes in. The reply is that the hospital owns tlie land on which the school stands, it donated a pretty good old house to be used as building material, it repaved the street leading to the School. Dr. Park is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the School an过 helped Air. Lee, the Proctor of the Soochow University, raise the first one hundred dollars that went into the School building.
