Description

Advertising card for Bovril beef extract, promoting its nutritious qualities: "Bovril invigorates when one feels faint, gives energy and vitality when one is run down. Bovril is the highest type of nourishment in its most agreeable and most easily digestible form." The card shows a bullock looking down at a jar of Bovril with an alarmed expression on its face. The card unfolds to reveal two bullocks, one of which has clearly ended up as the product.
