Manby s Improvements in Reverberatory Furnaces, §c. and details of which may be varied according to circumstances, as is the case with the reverberatory furnaces now in use. And we claim this particularly as a mode of rendering available in reverberatory furnaces anthracite or stone coal and culm or other short-flamed fuels, as well as bituminous coal or other long-flamed fuels, heretofore in use. 5 In witness whereof, I, the said John Manby, have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Thirtieth day of July, One thousand eight hundred and forty-one. JOHN (l.s.) MANBY. AND BE IT BEMEMBERED, that on the Thirtieth day of July, in the 10 year of our Lord 1841, the aforesaid John Manby came before our said Lady the Queen in Her Chancery, and acknowledged the Specification afore¬ said, and all and everything therein contained and specified, in form above written. And also the Specification aforesaid was stamped according to the tenor of the Statute made for that purpose. 15 Inrolled the Thirtieth day of July, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty-one.
