The details and arrangements of the course of instruction were left to the Faculty of the College and the Council. SALE OF THE LONG ISLAND COLLEGE HOSPITAL. [Dec. 22.] At the next meeting of the Board of Eegents the Special Committee on the sale of the property of the Hospital re- ported the sale of the premises on Henry Street between Pacific and Amity Streets at auction to Dr. Wm. H. Dudley for $28,550, sub- ject to the mortgages to the amount of $20,000, and that the lot on Henry Street near Hamilton Avenue, the gift of Mr. Luqueer, was withdrawn. Mr. Thomae moved that the executive officers be authorized and directed to execute a deed of the property sold to the purchaser under the seal of the corporation on his complying with the terms of the sale; this was carried. This deed is dated January 12, 1860, and is recorded in Liber of Conveyance 517, page 241, the considera- tion being $8,550. The property remained vested in Dr. Dudley un- til May 11, 1865. Mr. Christmas offered a resolution that the chair- man of the Liquidating Committee be authorized to make a settle- ment of the liens on the property required to be discharged by the terms of the sale, to adjust the liens of the Eegents under the second mortgage, and have that mortgage discharged out of the proceeds of the sale and the pro rata assessments of the Eegents for their pro- portions of the floating debt, including the payment of that debt, which resolution was adopted. The agreement of the Eegents to pay their proportions of the debt was then signed by all present in these words: “ We, the undersig-ned, hereby agree to pay our proportions on de- mand, of the debt now outstanding on the Long Island College Hospital, as the same may be certified and approved by Liquidating Committee, H. Messenger, E. O’Sullivan, T. H. Rodman and C. Dever, Treas. “ Brooklyn, December 13, 1859. Sam Sloan (not to exceed three hundred dollars to be deducted from note now held by me).
