    We have, with great care, described the manner of preparing and administer- ing the medicines, and joined thereto the proper doses, and the time at which they shouJd be given. We may, perhaps, be accused of being too minute in the de- tail, and of having repeated words that might have been omitted: the interest of the sufferers must plead for us in ex- cuse. Further, we are persuaded that such of our readers as possess no know- ledge of medicine, will not blame us for having indicated, with prolixity, the ne- cessary treatment, so as to render it more intelligible.
