    COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE HOSPITAL Annual Meeting of the Governors HELD AT Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital, Wednesday, June 11th, 1941 CAPT. G. SMITH-CLARKE, (Chairman of the Board of Management) in the absence of The Right Worshipful the Mayor (Aid. J. Moseley) presided 1. Capt. G. Smith-Clarke proposed :— “That the Minutes of the last Annual Meeting held March 30th, 1940, be taken as read”, and i “That the Report of the Board of Management for the past year ended December 31st, 1940, together with Statement of Accounts, be adopted, and that a special vote of thanks be accorded the Visiting and Resident Medical Staffs, Administration, Nursing and other Staffs, and the many friends who have helped forward the work of the Hospital”. Mr. H. R. Brooks supported the proposition which was carried unanimously. 2. Statement and Report by the Chairman on the circumstances arising from the present emergency, was presented and the proposals and recommendations therein approved. * 3. Mr. W. H. Cook proposed, and Miss H. Rotherham, J.P. seconded the proposition, which was carried unanimously :— “That the Right Hon. Lord Leigh be re-elected as President of the Hospital”. 4. Proposed by Capt. D. W. Ratcliff, seconded by Dr. J. N. Frankland, and carried unanimously :—• “That the following be re-elected Vice-Presidents for the ensuing year :—• The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Coventry. The Right Reverend Lord Bishop of Coventry. Lady Leigh. Lady Herbert. The Rt. Hon. Viscount Nuffield. The Right Hon. Lord Kenilworth. Teie Rt. Hon. Robert Anthony Eden, M.C. ,M.P. Sir John Mellor, M.P. Lt. Commander R. Fletcher, M.P. Captain W. F. Strickland, M.P. The Hon. E. Langton Iliffe. E. Victor Dodd, Esq., J.P. W. Coker Iliffe, Esq.
