The vocabulary begins on the next page, but it is preceded by a preface, speaking of the necessity which had existed for such a work. It goes on to say, ““ Demum auctoritas inducat clarissimi doctissimiq sacra litera pfessoris: magistri Jodoci eychman de calwe: a quo dum p plurimos iam annos heydelberge predicando quoslibet accuratissime docuit: huius noui plenam sumpsit origine series opusculi.”” The book ends on the verso of the 235th leaf, with the words “ Zona gurtel.”’ Hain *11023.
