![The insoluble salts were found by Nasse to be combinations of peroxide of iron, lime, magnesia, silica, and phosphoric and sulphuric acids. The magnesia and silica were not determined quantitatively. In 1000 parts of blood there were : Insoluble salts : Peroxide of iron. Lime. Phosphoric acid. Sulphuric acid. The sheep B was pregnant, and in bad condition ; while the sheep c had been delivered about 10 weeks previously, and had been since attacked with dropsy. The salts were determined individually, but they presented no peculiar deviation from the normal standard.
