Dcfeafes of this genus are iymptomatic, ei- ther from external or internal caufes. G. XI. Pneumonia. Pyrexia, with a pain in fome part cfthe thorax difficult Re- fpiration and cough. The fpecies are. I. (Peripneumony) with a pulfe not always hard, but fometimes foft, an obtufe pain of the breaft, the refpiration always diffi- cult ; fometimes the patientcannot breathe tinlefs in an upright pofcure; the face fwelled and of a livid colour, the couHi O for the moft part moift, frequently Bloody. 1. Simple Idiopathic peripneumonics. Va- rying in degree. 2. Idiopathic Peripneumonies complicated with fever.
