A’, ——A similar piece, but weight 4-6g7s. 1 AN, —— Dinar, weight 4-8¢ers., struck in the names of the Khalif of Bagdad, El-Moustaasem Billah, and the Sultan Kei-Kaus, dated 643 (=1245 A.D.) 1 AN, —— Dinar, weight 3-5grs., type as last, but dated 650 (=1252) 1 AN, —— Dinar, weight 5-7grs., struck in the names of the same three rulers, and dated 648 (=1250 A.D.) 1 *.* The five preceding coins ave interesting as they give the date of the Mongol invasion of Asia Minor and Mesopotamia. Lead squeeze of the large 200 Mohur piece of Shah Jahan, A.H. 1064 (=A.D. 1653), with a translation of the legends i ENGLISH COINS. ZR, Spanish Dollar, 1792, countermarked CARK COTTON WORKS, 1787, in an indented circle, rev. FOUR SHILLINGS —AND SIX PENCE, also within circle. Unpublished and very rare, the countermarh clear and well struck See Davis 3l for a similar countermark on a George III. haifpenny.
