The nice border representing four angels holding garlands and an empty shield, and two reclining stags is am exact copy of a border by Hans Cranach (reprod. Flechsig, Cranachstudien, p. 220). Von teglicher iibung in der Kirchen. Von verordnung des Superattendenten. Von Schulen. The nice border represents scenes from the Old and New Testaments and prophets, kiags, evangelists and saints. The very handsome, rare border represents 7 naked children gathering hops.
