This copy belonged to Wiiu1amM WYCHERLEY, the Dramatist, and has his autograph on the title-page. REA (John), Flora: seu, de Florum Cultura. Or, a Complete Florilege, furnished with all Requisites belonging toa Florist. London, Printed by J. G. for Richard Marriott, 1665. Sm. folio, First Eprrion, with pretty engraved title- page by D. Loggan, the leaf of ** The Mind of the Front ’’ pre- ceding it, and 8 plates of draughts for gardens, small hole in engraved title, contemporary calf gilt, with the ARMS of CHRIS- TOPHER MONK, SECOND DuKE OF ALBEMARLE, in guilt on sides (joints repaired), £5 5s. The author was a nursery-gardener who lived at Kinlet, near Bewdley, Worcestershire. He is said to have planned the gardens at Gerards’, Bromley, Staffs, the seat of Charles, fourth Baron Gerard of Bromley, to whose son he dedicates this work. There are also verses to Lady Gerard, and Lady Hanmer, and another dedi- eation to Sir Thomas Hanmer. REA (John), Flora: seu, de Florum Cultura.
