    The Baptists Church has in connection witli 302,526 members, or 11 per cent, of the Protestant population, two conventions and 500 ministers. THE RESOURCES OF CANADA. It would be quite easy, but also quite useless, to set forth an array of figures indicating the extent and resources of Canada. A region cannot be dealt with in this way, which extends from the latitude of the Dardanells to the Polar region, and from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans, a region including more than one half of the North American Con- tinent, a country in which the vegetation ranges from grapes to reindeer moss.
