    437 Hanger (Colonel George, fourth Baron Coleraine) The Life, Adventures, and Opinions of, written by Himself, 2 vol. half calf, a little broken 1801 *. Colonel Hanger served throughout the American Civil War. During the siege of Charlestown he acted as aide- de-camp to Sir Henry Clinton, and was wounded in an action at Charlottetown in Sept. 1780. He was respon- sible for the prophecy that “one of these days the northern and southern powers [of the United States] will fight as vigorously against each other as they both have united to do against the British.” 438 Lyon (Capt.
