I have always ufed the curved trocar? which has anfwered the purpofe exceed¬ ing well, and from which I have never found any inconvenience 5 it fhould be about the fmalleft fize of thofe generally made ufe of in the afcites, and the point ✓ fhould be dire&ed obliquely downwards from the angle of the eye toward the note.
