The Port Health Inspector carries out a detailed inspection for rodents on all snips arriving from foreign ports. 2n arrangements have been made for the bacteriological and pathological era inations of rodents to be carried out at the County Laboratory, Dorchester, No such examinations were carried out during 1953. 3. The Port Health Inspector has been trained in modern methods of rodent control. Small infestations are dealt with by trapping and baiting.
