The Board shall meet at such times as they may consider necessary The Secretary shall give seven days notice of the Annual General Meeting or any Special Meeting of Subscribers, and of all General and Special Meetings of the Board, except, as provided by Rule X., in the case of Special Meetings of the Board convened by requisition, and except the first Meeting of the Board, which may be held immediately after the Annual General Meeting. 7. In the event of any vacancy occurring on the Board or among the Officers of the Hos])ital, the Board shall have power to fill such vacancy. The Board shall have power to appoint such Medical and other Officers as they may think fit. 8. The Board may at any time, and on the requisition of ten Subscribers (who shall have been subscribers of a sum of half a guinea and upwards for not less than two years), shall call a Special Meeting of Subscribers. The notice shall state the business for which the Meeting is called, and no other business shall be transacted thereat. 9. The Board may delegate its authority and powers either in whole or in part to, and may appoint, Sub-Committees for such purpose and with such authority and powers- as they may from time to time determine, and may revoke such appointments. SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD. QUORUM. 10. The Secretary shall call a Special Meeting of the Board, if required to do so by three Members, of which not less than three days notice shall be given. Such notice shall state the business for whcih it is called, and no other business shall be transacted thereat. The quorum for Special Board Meetings shall be seven, and for Board Meetings five. 11. All questions brought before any Meeting shall be decided by a show of hands. The Chairman shall have a second or casting vote. HOUSE COMMITTEE. 12. The Board shall appoint a Committee to be called the House Committee, which shall number not fewer than five Subscribers. It shall be the duty of the Ladies of this Committee to arrange among themselves to visit and inspect the Hospital from time to time, confer with the Matron and Medical Staff of the Hospital on the question of supplies and other matters affecting the domestic upkeep of the Hospital, and furnish a report to Meetings of the Board.
