![28. No patient shall remain in the Hospital more than one month without the sanction ot the Board. 29. No liquors or provisions of any sort may be brought into the Hospital to ])atients without permission of the Medical Officer on Duty or Matron, and no jratient shall be allowed to use any diet but such as shall be directed by the Medical Officer in charge of the case, 30. Patients using profane or abusive language or guilty of im¬ proper conduct, using spirituous liquors or any other article prohibited by the Medical Officer in charge, or not conforming to the Rules, Bye-laws and Regulations of the Hospital, shall be liable to immediate expulsion. VISITORS TO PATIENTS. 31. Friends of patients maybe admitted between the hours of 2 and 4.30 on Sundays and Wednesdays, or at any other time at the dis¬ cretion of the Aledical Officer on Duty or Matron. No more than two persons shall visit the same patient at one time. SAMARITAN FUND. 32. A Samaritan Fund shall be dispensed at the discretion of the Board, who shall have power to make grants in aid of such Fund and for Convalescent Homes. LIABILITY OF OFFICERS. 33. No Officer or Member of the Board, or Medical Officer shall at any time be personally liable for any obligation contracted by them on behalf of the Hospital, and the Funds of the Hospital only shall be liable for such obligations. ALTERATION OF RULES. 34. No existing Rule .shall be abrogated, suspended, or altered, or any new Rule made except at a General or Special Meeting of Sub¬ scribers, and no motion for any new Rule, or for the abrogation, sus¬ pension, or alteration of any existing Rule, shall be brought forward at any such Meeting, unless notice thereof in writing shall have been delivered to the Secretary at least fourteen clear days previous to the holding of the Meeting, and the proposed motion shall have been inserted in the summons issued to the Subscribers,](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b31688913_0051.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
