Five figures make their way across the canvas towards the viewer's right: 1. wearing cloak; 2. water-carrier, has red cross badge on his uniform, carries water containers in front of him and on his back; 3. has red cross armband, carries stretchers with no. 4; 5. carries supplies in large knapsack

Haydn R. Mackey. Haydn R. Mackey Signed indistinctly in red paint bottom right, near bottom edge of painted area. Signed again more boldly in brown paint a little higher up (in 1968?)
