Nestles’ and the Co-operative Society’s premises, the latter Company having recently purchased a new pasteurising plant. Frequent samples are taken to ensure that the plant is working satisfactorily, and that the raw milk is up to standard in fat content. The results of the cleansing processes to which the milk supply is subjected at these premises, emphasise the necessity for constant vigilance to ensure cleanliness of production at the source. It is to be hoped that the Bucks water scheme will assist milk producers in their endeavours in this direction. Number of Tuberculin-Tested milk retailers in the Borough. 4 (b) Meat and Other Foods.
