    The cost for wngos, material and transport was £346 : 11 : 7d for the year ending December 1954. Arrangements wore mado with tho A.D.A.H. Southern Command, for mosquito control by Army Sanitary Squads on tho Browndown Marshes and adjoining land occupiod by tho War Department. Tho filling in by household refuso of marshy land at Haslar Golf Links and now in progross on tho Browndown Marshes should help oonsidorably in mosquito c ontrol by cutting do\m thoir brooding grounds.
