Since that time, our opinion has been 4 strenghtened and developed by the study of numerous cases, and by the improvement of the technical method employed. Whithout giving the satisfaction of a perfect and certain cure, these therapeutical processes (bringing to an invalid, _ often a burden to himself and his family, the possibility of Z taking up active employement and leading again an in- _ suffering from these diseases, being generally given up to 4 eres fate, almost without therapeutics, one must not be too exacting. Let us not forget that the question is of patients who are generally considered as incurable, and for q whom, consequently, each progressive improvement is : porthy of retaining the attention. Be sides, there are some cases from which it is possible to obtain quite remarkable results, almont approaching a complete cure. Relating to the treatment of tabetics by an analogous - method, successes are known and the cause was judged and 4 ‘won some years ago.
