The infection in the cases of scarlet fever was probably brought from outside the district. House Accommodatiou—Adequate and in an average state of repair. There is always sufficient space about the hotises and they are mostly clean. Sewerage and Sewage Disfosal.—Sewage is generally disposed of on land, and in some cases it is carried awav by water courses. I'lxcTcment Disposal—Mostly by means of privy middens. Removal of House Refuse -Sufficient land in connection with the houses for its proper disposal. Water Supplies —Mostly from individual wells.
