![THE PUBLIC HEALTH (OFFICERS) ACT, 1884. 47 & 48 Vict., Chapter 74. An Act to amend the Public Health Act, 1875, with respect to the Officers of Local Authorities. [14th August, 1884.] Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— Short Title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Public Health (Officers) Act, 1884, and shall be construed as one with the Public Health Act, 1875, in this Act called the principal Act. Restriction on Recovery of Penalties. 2.
