The set of Mr Thompson's papers includes some Burroughs Wellcome memorabilia, but also photographs and patent designs for apparatus for both Wellcome and for Crookes. Biographical note

Frederick John Warburton Thompson worked for Burroughs Wellcome (c.1903 - 1926) and later for Crookes Laboratories, which is now part of Reckitt Benckiser (1926 - ?). He was also Henry Wellcome?s private secretary for a time.
