![John Profily offered to take feveral poor People in that Diforder under his Care, in Order to make Trial of his Medicines, he this Deponent ap¬ ply’d to him ; but the faid Dr. Profily required of him to go to fome Phyfician or Surgeon, in or¬ der to be examined before he would take him into his Infirmary, which this Deponent did, and was firfl examined by Surgeon Duanny, fecondly by Surgeon Stones, thirdly by Surgeon Whetftone, and fourthly by James Ryan Surgeon, who told this Deponent his Diforder was a Pox, and that he could not be cured without Salivation : Then upon this Deponent’s Promife, that he would not for the future expofe himfelf to the fame Danger, this Deponent was admitted into the faid Dr. Profily9s Infirmary, where he was examined by all the Phy- ficians and Surgeons who came there to fee the Pa¬ tients : And this Deponent further depofeth, that the faid Dr. John Profily's Antiphrcdiftac Pills, and his careful Attendance in dreffing this Depo¬ nent’s Sores with proper Ointment, this Deponent was compleatly cured in or about the Space of a Month, and at the time of making this Affida¬ vit he finds himfelf in per fed Plealth ; and this Deponent, in Gratitude to the faid Dr. John Pro- fily, and for the Benefit of others in the like Cafe, he maketh the above Affidavit.
