A plot discovered carried on boldly, these many years by false brethren against the new converts from popery to the protestant religion, in a book, entitled, The spirit of the French refugees manifested. Being a General and Particular Apology, &c. Wherein Is set forth, the Insolence and Ingratitude, of the greatest Part of the French Refugees, towards the English, their Benefactors; their domineering Spirit and Wickedness towards those unhappy Converts, (their Countrymen) and to all poor Protestant Strangers in general; their Fanatical Discipline; their open Endeavours to obstruct the Glory of God; to engross to themselves his Spiritual and Universal Kingdom; and to blast the indisputable Honour of the Charitable, Beneficent, and Zealous British Protestants. Humbly submitted to the Consideration of the whole English Nation; and particularly of the most Illustrious and Venerable Clergy. By the Rev.
