    the cure of Epilepsy; and my learned friend Dr. Willan has experienced the utility of this plant in the treatment of that disease. < V; 'I/;;. . . . 0 ' !1,X] vbiG; 9t.iT We have already confessed ourselves ignorant of the precise condition of the brain, which constitutes the predisponent cause of Epilepsy, we have also stated our concurrence with the opinion that no radical cure can be effected in this, or any other disease, without the correction or removal of the predisponent cause, and we come now to the confession ol our ig- norance of the modus operandi of the Misletoe. No theoretical deductions can therefore be made in favour of the Viscus Quercinus, and it must stand, or tall, by its own merit. There is however one con- solation in knowing that the fate of this plant cannot be more severe, than that which
