The <i>Lancet</i> cutting contains marginal holograph additions, one dated 1853. There are added holograph notes on his controversies with the Royal Society, Sir B. C. Brodie and Sir J. Y. Simpson: also an A.l.s. (1 p. 4to. 221/2 x 191/2 cm.), dated 4/12/1839 from Joseph Swan [1791-1874], Anatomist and Surgeon, concerning the anatomy of the uterus, and copies of Lee's own letters one dated 11/7/1873. Produced in London.
