    four Baths, the tremulous movements ceased. Ad. Nov. 17, Dis. Dec. 23, 1859, Cured. VI. —B. M., aged 37, an Engineer. “ Has been suffering for some months with Chronic Rheumatism of the limbs.” Has suffered from Chronic Rheumatism for nearly two years. About eight or nine months ago his legs became pain- ful. The pain is for the most part confined to the muscles, hut the knees are occasionally effected. He also suffered from Haematuria, and was anaemic. He drank the waters, and used the baths, with a variety of other remedies. The urine re- gained its normal character, but he still retained an extreme anaemic appearance. Ad. Nov. 17, 1859, Dis. March 20, 1860, Better. VII. —A. J., aged 19. “In the present spring, 1859, he was attacked with Rheumatic Fever and Small Pox. He re- covered from both. They were followed by a cutaneous eruption immediately, and a return of the Rheumatism in a Chronic form. The present symptoms are Rheumatic pains in all parts of the body, stiffness of the knee-joints, chronic eruption in patches on arms and back of neck and leg. His general health is very fair. No complications.” This boy is of a strumous habit, and anaemic; the eruption appears to be Syphilitic. He drank and bathed in the waters, and took 01. Morrh., and Quinine Wine. Ad. Nov. 17, 1859, Dis. Jan. 10, 1860, Cured.
