As in previous years, the sev\mrs were treated twice. First a 10'% baiting- test in the inspection chambers to- determine which sections, if any, were rat infested. Where infestation was founds poisoning with Zinc Phosphide was reso’rted to. The very good takes of poison would seem to indicate that a large number of rats were killed. Water Supply. All houses are provided with piped water from the Council’s deep wells at Brayton. During the year six bacteriological samples were taken, two from the swimming baths and four from the towns mains.
