GRAHAM, Secretary. Report of Surgical Staff. There were 699 cases treated during the year, 584 of which were operative cases 202 being of a major character. The number of deaths was 30, giving a mortality of 4-29 as compared with 25 deaths in the previous year, when the mortality was 392. Of the 30 deaths 8 ocourred within 24 hours of admission. There were also 577 out¬ patients, of whicli 93 were minor operations. The surgical Staff desires to place on record its appreciation of the very ^Pcellent wort accomplished by the Matron and Nursing Staff. The Secretary will be grateful for copies of Old Annual Reports of the Hospital issued previous to 1921.
