    own powers of observation, assisted by the replies of the Physicians to all questions put to them, and by keeping a few select cases, such as may be most re¬ markable at the moment. The great majority of Pupils do not pretend to aim at more than this degree of information, and every facility is offered them for the attainment of this end, and the best understanding prevails between the Me¬ dical Officers and their Pupils on all occasions. Access to the case books is another source of interest which is always at hand, and always replete with useful infor¬ mation. AMUSEMENTS AND OCCUPATIONS. The same variety of amusements and occupations are employed which has been repeatedly detailed on former occasions. The billiard-room has been more frequented, and the library often crowded with readers, among whom a few artists have been engaged in copying engravings. The garden, laundry, and workshops, also afford useful opportunities of occupation. DIVINE SERVICE. The average attendance of males has amounted to 74, and of females to 72, making 146. CLASSIFICATION. Every opportunity of subdivision has been adopted upon the principle detailed in former reports, and
