It will give fatisfadion to the publick, to learn that Anna Duflhall (the fit ft Child that had the Cow- pox in India) has been inoculated with the matter of fmall pox and has refilled its adion. Mr. Kennedy was fo good as to fend me from Hyderabad fome variolous matter on thread, with which Dr. Keir and myfclf inoculated Anna in two places, very near to each other, in each arm. The Cuticle was divided, and a thread ofaboutthe length of one quarter of an inch was carefully placed in each of the four incifions.
