Hastings, Jan. 13, 1859. Dear Sir, A question as to the contamination, by lead, gf the water supplied to the inhabitants of the Borough having been referred hy the Local Board of Health to our Medico-Chirurgical Society, we beg to forward to you (as well as to the other Members,) the subjoined question, and shall he much obliged if you will send an answer at your earhest convenience.
