![The following are the iiihivhatious employed at the Consumption Hospital London, as given in Squires' Pharmacopoeia's of the London Hospitals. They be- long to the class of volatile inhalations, and are em- ployed with the apparatus represented in Figures 1 and 2. No. 26.—Lihalatio Acid Hydrocyan. Dilute Hydro- cyanic Acid 10 to 15 mins.; for one inhalation. No. 27.—Inhalatio ^ther. Chlor. c. Hyoscyam. Chloric ^ther 30 mins.; Tincture Henbane 30 mins.; Infusion of Hop, or water 8 oz. No. 28.—Inhalatio Camphoree. Spirits of Camphor [ to 2 drms,; boiling water 8 oz. ]^o. 29.—Inhalatio Chlorinii. Chlorinated Lime 2 oz.; for one inhalation. No. 30.—Inhalatio Chloroformi. Chloroform 15 mins.; for one inhalation. ]^o. 31.—Inhalatio Conise. Coniine 1 gr.; Spirits of Wine 10 mins.; water | oz. No. 32.—Inhalatio Creasotum. Creasote 6 mins., v^'^ater ^ oz. No. 33.—Inhalatio lodinii. Iodine 2 grs.; Spirits of Wine 10 min.; water | oz. No. 34.—Inhalatio Lupuh. Hops IJ oz.; boihng water 20 oz. Nd. 35.—Inhalatio Opii. Extract of Opium 3 grs. In using inhalations we are guided almost entirely by the sensations ot the patient, as regards their frequency, duration, and continuance.
