![THE FOLLOWING ARE FROM AMONGST THE MANY TESTIMONIALS. Testimonial for the Cerevisia. “A lady who has patronized Dr. Webster’s Cerevisia for nearly twenty years, and expended large sums annually in the distribution of it, can bear ample testimony to its value. Her attention has been particularly given to scrofula cases, where by perseverance it has thoroughly purified the blood of that' direful disorder—indeed, in no one instance has she been unsuccessful. (Reference allowed.) “ Nov. 6, 1877.” “ Giltspur Street, City, JS.C. “ Gentlemen,—Being fully convinced that your most valuable medicine needs only to be known to be universally used, I enclose my case. I had a violent attack of gout and rheu¬ matism, and for want of sleep wTas almost worn out; I was recommended your Diet-Drink, and after taking it, found myself so much better, that I resolved to persevere in its use. ] am now' fast gaining my strength, and my general health is so much improved that I now enter¬ tain a confident hope of complete recovery. “ W. S.” “ Cowley Hall, near Uxbridge, June 1 \th, 1868. “ Dear Sies,—Owing, as I do, under God’s blessing, half a century of my existence to the Cerevisia, I should be ungrateful if I did not comply with your request and give you a brief statement of my case. “ When about eight years old, a swelling appeared on my left elbow ; an abscess formed in my left ai'mpit, and another in my right ear, and various other symptoms of scrofula manifested themselves. My parents had the best advice which Manchester, my native town, could afford, but without benefit: indeed, on the contrary, with decided aggravation. I was bled, blistered, and physicked ; one medical gentleman (Mr., afterwards Dr. Barton) inserted an issue right over the elbow-joint, from the consequence of which I suffer to this day, as my arm is semi-stiff, so that I cannot perfectly straighten it nor touch my shoulder; and this gentleman subsequenty told my mother that there was no cure but having my arm off, which might have caused my death. At this time, my father, who was for nearly forty years a minister in Manchester, was in London, where he providentially heard of the Cerevisia. He sent a supply down, and the result was my recovery ; and that recovery was so rapid as to astonish all who knew me: my health was thoroughly re-established, and the physical effects of mal-treatment being all that remained. My father, after this, became a great advocate for the medicine; go where he would he spoke of it and recommended it. He gave away scores of bottles to the poor, and was well repaid for his benevolence, as he witnessed its invaluable effects. I could have no difficulty in supplying you with as many as would form a volume.— Yours truly, “John Gadsby, “ Author of ‘ Wanderings in the East.’ ” “ Lombard Street. “ Sie,— I beg you to communicate to the public the wonderful relief which myself and family have received from Webster’s Diet-Drink.—My employment was to superintend Mr. Rothschild’s bullion ; whereby, from the heavy porterage, night air, and fatigue, my con¬ stitution became weakened and relaxed. In this state I remained three years, having the advice, first and last, of not less than fifteen physicians, who seemed to be unanimous that I could not survive. I continued to get worse, and was not expected to live. T sent for Mr. Cole, an attorney, to settle my affairs. He, in conversation, recommended Webster’s Diet- Drink. The first dose relieved me; and I began gradually to amend. I was soon induced to leave my doctors altogether, and to have recourse solely to the Cerevisia, which in time, by perseverance, made a complete cure: and, since then, I have undergone much fatigue, without feeling any ill effects.” WHOOPING-COUGH,- Case of Mrs. Cornell’s Child. “ Mrs. Cornell, of Devonshire Place, had a child of about two years of age, who had been for a long time exceedingly ill of the whooping-cough. The child’s condition had become most deplorable, being covered all over with what is commonly called the purples, which the doctor considered as the sure sign of speedy dissolution. In this hopeless case, my wife recommended the Diet-Drink ; and, to revive their hopes, told them of the recovery of our own children, after having been dangerously ill of the same complaint. In the course of three days the child had so far recovered as to be able to be taken out for the benefit of the air; and afterwards acquired health and strength so rapidly, that the cure was completed in six weeks, solely by the regular use of the Diet-Drink. “ J.
