No text description is available for this image![ZO 3594)Dpp (John) An important Alchemical Manuscript, written nn in English and Latin, treating on the transmutation of metals, the search for the Elixir of Life, etc. and entitled “Practica et Accurtaciones Georgii Ryplay et Raimundi (Lullii),” signed four times with the initials “J.D.” extending to over 100 pp. (the last few evidently written at a later date), sm. 4to, bound in the leaves of an early printed book ENGLISH, XVI CENT. ** Probably in the hand of John Dee, both portions of the | Manuscript, though in a somewhat different script, bear very distinct resemblances to the varied handwriting of ee: 360 Hupson’s Bay.
