![[ ] Horpltals as Incurables, cured; as well as others, given over by eminent Phyficians and Surgeons. ^ - , , 1 fljall ufe the plained Expreffions pofiible, and point out the mod fimple and cheaped Remedies poor Perfons may procure, I nei-' ther mind, or (hall attend to Criticifms. I flaall be contented, if by my Defeription of the King’s Evil, or Scrophulous Cafes, where there is no Complication of other Diforders, any one may know them. I have found many very much diflike being told their Cafe was the King’s Evil or Scrophula, Indeed they are often humoured by many of the Medical Fa¬ culty, in this Difpofition, calling it only fcor- butic. This 1 never do 3 but tenderly give my fentiments without Referve^ and always conceal Names if required. All I have related is dridt Truth ; nor can it be fuppofed, as I take no Money for my • Advice, that I widi to impofe on any one. Moreover, for a Confirmation of what I aflert, I have mentioned many of the Perfons Names, who may be applied to. To conclude 5 I w^ould advife every one not to be difheartened at the Simplicity of the Rro-, cefs, or the flownefs of the Cure ; or mix any other Medicines or Preferiptions with mine; for they may defeat the Methods 1 have laid down, and which have had the Succefs I fhajl circurndantially relate.
