I have a funilar end in view in the remaining pages of this trad:, in which I fhall with fidelity report fuch other particulars, as feem wor¬ thy of attention, feleded from a great variety of cafes, which fell within my im¬ mediate obfervation ; the narrative firft in order forming the only exception to this V rule. The hiflory, of which the following is an abftrad, was communicated to me with fuch circumftances of credibility, as would not permit me to doubt of the accuracy of the report.
