    CONDITIONS. OF SALE. I. The highest Bidder to be the Buyer; and if any dispute arise ‘between two or more Bidders, the Lot to be re-offered or not at the Auctioneer’s discretion. II.. No person to advance less than 2s. 6d.; above Five Pounds 5s., and so on in proportion. III. In the case of lots upon which there is a reserve the Auctioneer ‘shall have the right to bid on behalf of the Vendor. IV. The Purchasers to give'in their Names and Places of Abode, and to pay down 5s. in the pound, if required, in Part Payment of the Purchase-money ; in default of which the Lot or Lots so purchased shall be immediately put up again and re-sold. V. The Lots to be taken away at the Buyer’s Expense and Risk THE vay after the Sale, and the remainder of the Purchase-money to be absolutely paid, or otherwise settled for to the satisfaction of the Vendors on or before delivery; in default of which Messrs. Puttick & Simpson will not hold themselves responsible, if the Lots be lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, but they will be left at the sole risk of the Purchaser. VI. ‘The sale of any Lot is not to be set aside on account of any error of description. VII. Upon failure of complying with the above Conditions, the money deposited in part payment shall be forfeited ; andall Lots left uncleared ‘in conformity with these Conditions, may be re-sold by public or private Sale without further notice; and the Deficiency (if any) arising from such re-sale shall be made good by the defaulters. at this Sale, together with all charges attending the same. This Condition is without prejudice to the right of the Auctioneers to enforce the contract madeat this Sale, without such re-sale, if they think fit. * * No Lots can be delivered at the time of Sale. Buyers who cannot’ attend the Sale, may have their Commissions faithfully executed by theiy obedient Servants, PUTTICK & SIMPSON.
